Each season, the Victorian Sub-District Cricket Association (VSDCA) runs the J.G. Craig Shield competition for Under 15 cricketers. It is recognised as the premier U15 cricket competition in Victoria and is played on the professionally prepared turf wickets of the 32 VSDCA clubs in January each year.

To be eligible to play in the JG Craig competition, players must be under 15 years of age as of September 1. Historically, we have fielded a team consisting of the best U15 players from PMCC, and from Greater Melbourne and Country Victoria. Trials are run in August/September with teams announced in late November. Players who are selected must ensure that they are available for all matches during the tournament in January.
