Master Blasters

The Master Blaster program has been formulated for players who are ready to be part of a team by playing short games of cricket in a fun and social setting.  The players use a soft ball and plastic bats, so no protection gear is required.  Each players gets to bat and bowl and batters do not get out.  There is no ladder and results and stats are not maintained for the season.

Game DaysSaturdays, 9 AM – 10 AM
LocationAlbert Park near Clarke Shields Pavilion
Training DaysDepends on whether a parent coach is available
Mondays, 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM at Port Melbourne Cricket Ground
Format15 Minutes – Skills Rotation 
60-75 Minutes – Blast Game 
Blast Game Length – 12 overs per team/innings 
Batting – 4 overs per batting pair 
Bowling – All overs are bowled from the same end
Parent InvolvementParents are encouraged to take part in the matches as scorers, umpires, team managers and spectators.  Please let the club know if you would like to volunteer for Team Manager role.
